Delete Your Account

You can delete your StylePal account and the personal data stored with it at any time, free of charge. This page explains how, what is deleted, and what is kept.

Delete it in the app

• Open StylePal and tap the Settings tab (the gear icon).
• Tap Edit Profile.
• Tap the link "To delete your account click here".
• Enter a short reason (this field is required) and tap Submit.

Your account and its data are deleted within 3 days of your request.

What gets deleted

• Your login (email, Google or Apple sign-in)
• Your profile and settings
• The outfit photos you uploaded, your shared videos and your comparison history
• Your referral code
• Your support chat messages and any reports you submitted
• Your contact in our mailing list

Deleted photos can stay in our storage provider's short-term recovery copy for up to 7 more days, after which they are erased permanently.

What we keep

• A record of your deletion request (your account ID, email address, the reason you gave, the date and the status), so we can show the deletion was carried out.
• Product analytics in PostHog, which keeps a profile with your email address and name, and crash and usage data in Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics and Sentry, linked to your account ID. These are kept for as long as those services retain them.
• Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat, which they keep for billing and tax purposes.
• Server logs, which may include your account ID and are deleted automatically after about 30 days.

A paid subscription is separate

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so deleting your account does not cancel one. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

Can't open the app?

Email [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm once it is done.
